D.O.A. farewell tour!

After 35 years and 14 studio albums, canadian  punk legends D.O.A. calling it quits. They will say goodbye to europe and the uk with a 3 week final  farewell tour this October.
The band is calling it quits as Joe Keithley will focus more on his political work for Canada`s New Democratic Party (NDP). "I’ve been working on trying to change Canada and this world into a better place from outside the system for the last 35 years," Keithley shares in a press release on the northamerican final tour, "now I will do my utmost to effect that change from inside the system. That’s why I am running for the only progressive party, the NDP."
The band released last september their 14th and last record " We Come In Peace".
We Come In Peace' is as much a declaration of D.O.A.'s mission on this, the band's 14th studio album of all-new material, as it is a way to identify this collection of songs by serving as the album's title. Always a fiercely political band, D.O.A. have upped the ante here by jumping headfirst into the fray of the messy and chaotic shit-storm that is today's less-than-stable worldwide political environment, tackling the financial crisis, the Occupy movement (the song "Occupy feat. JELLO BIAFRA), shady dealings by top officials, systemic bigotry, andother important issues – both those that have been ripped from the headlines and those that have been culled from buried stories and the underground press."

We`ve got pretty much the shittiest news ever. Todd, the TOYS THAT KILL  and FYP singer went to the hospital 3 days ago to follow up on an eye problem and they found a detached retina and had to do emergency surgery. in the last two days wie tried very hard to save at least some parts of the tour but its impossible if he dont wanna be blind! We are very sorry, but we are forced to postpone the tour! We will catch up on everythin next spring/same period! Get well soon Todd!

"Some pretty lame news here. We had to cancel our upcoming Toys That Kill Europe tour due to a detached retina in my right eye. When the doctor diagnosed me last week she rushed me into the retina specialist for emergency surgery that same day. I told them I was going to Europe next wednesday and they both replied with "No your not! If you get on a plane you will lose your eye!". It felt like a knife through my skull. I feel some horrible emptiness inside when canceling shows but this takes the cake. It's gonna be tough to imagine where we should be every givin night for the next month. The great shows we are missing and the fun times that should be having. I'll have my right eye to keep me company at least. It's so hard to get all of us,due to work schedules, to go to Europe and we were seconds away. Bad timing to say the least. They said I was lucky to not be blind in that eye already so there is some positives here but still...shit! Very sincere apologies to every promoter who booked a show and especially Benny & Fanski/Klownhouse for booking the tour and the Rockstar Records/Aachen crew for their help overseas. We will try to make it up asap!" -Todd C.

BLACK FLAG has reformed and is in the process of putting finishing touches on a new album with founder Greg Ginn on guitar and Ron Reyes (Jealous Again era) on vocals.


The one constant member throughout the history of BLACK FLAG, Ginn -- named one of Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time" -- defined the west coast punk sound and the DIY ethos of punk rock. Greg Ginn also currently plays with Good For You and Greg Ginn And The Royal We.
Ron Reyes of Decline Of The Western Civilization fame was the BLACK FLAG vocalist from The Church / Jealous Again era. Reyes also currently plays guitar in Piggy.


The seeds of this reformation were planted when Reyes invited Ginn to perform with him at his birthday party some two and half years ago. Needless to say -- the party was a blast and the two vowed at that time to work on some songs together. The fruition of those efforts will culminate in the release of the new album later this year.
Far from being a one-time grab, this reformation has BLACK FLAG recording and touring extensively both in the US and abroad.

Happy new year people! the new year is just 3 days old and we have allready the pleasure to bring you BIG news!
TSOL will be back for their 3rd time (2nd time trough us) in Europe and we can`t tell you how stoked we are.
They will be in Europe from August 7th til 29th!
Jack Grisham, Ron Emory, Mike Roche and Todd Barnes were four kids who grew up together in Huntington Beach. As T.S.O.L. they blasted onto the Orange County punk explosion. Today, the band is back to give us what they gave then. “Superficial Love”, “80 Times”, “Code Blue”, “Wash Away” and the rest of those vintage punk nuggets will be blasted live into our faces again. Those who were not around to witness TSOL in their heyday can finally see for themselves why the band spawned a generation of bands and changed the shape of music today...

We are pretty stoked to anounce that we will book a handfull of Club and Festival Shows for F.Y.P !!!

F.Y.P (aka Five Year Plan) was Todd Congelliere's punk rock predecessor to his current bands TOYS THAT KILL and UNDERGROUND RAILROAD TO CANDYLAND. The group began as a one man band with a cheap Fisher Price drum machine providing the beat (per 7" liner notes).

From 1989, when Todd began work on the first EP until disbanding in 1999, F.Y.P gained notoriety (not to mention a noticeable increase in talent) in the DIY punk scene for touring the world several times bankrolled and set up by the Conge (per liner notes to last album entitled Toys That Kill).

While still a band, during its ten year span, F.Y.P toured Europe several times, Japan once, and the U.S. numerous times. They released over a dozen records on RECESS RECORDS before disbanding and received coverage in music magazines such as Maximumrocknroll,  Razorcake and Flipside.

Now, more than 12 years after their last show they just started to play selected Club and Festival shows ( including the FEST)  in the states to be followed by a handfull of Euro Shows in April and May 2013.

We are sorry to anounce the ELWAY /LEAGUES APART /BANGERS show in PLYMOUTH,UK is cancelled.the show moved to EXETER @the Cavern. Thanx to the nice folks who make that happen last minute!

Also Last Monday @ The Ramones Museum, they had about half of ELWAY`s merch stolen. 200 shirts, 100 7"s, 50 cds, and some coozies, stickers and handbags were taken. All in all, about 3000 euro worth of stuff was taken. It's shitty, because you just know whoever stole it couldn't possibly do shit with it so why the fuck take it? Anyway, here they are with about 6 weeks of tour left without nearly enough merch to survive.

We are stoked to welcome DOWN BY LAW to the Klownhouse family.

formed in 1989 by former All frontman Dave Smalley, Down By Law toured the world and recorded eight successful studio albums before their sudden break up nine years ago.

In 2008, Dave and lead guitarist Sam Williams, began to get the DBL itch again and decided to lay down a couple of new tracks and see where it might take them. Both members were inspired by the music and the positive fan feedback they recieved as the news about their recording sessions spread. So excited, in fact, that less than a year later, the band reformed and embarked on their first tour since 2003, where they played shows in South America and the United States. They followed that up with a visit to the Netherlands and several other one-off shows including an appearance at the 2011 Punk Rock Bowling Festival in Las Vegas.

In early 2012, Down By Law signed a new contract with DC-Jam Records and entered a Tampa, Florida recording studio in a quest to finish the album that Dave and Sam began work on in 2008. The completed 16 song record was then shipped to Ft. Collins, Colorado to the Blasting Room Studios where it was remixed by Smalley's old friend and bandmate, Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag), and then forwarded on to L.A. based D.O.B. Sound where it was mastered by Derek O'brien (Social Distortion, Adolescents).

We are working on some euro dates in late October/November.
The long awaited album, titled "Champions at Heart", is scheduled to street on August, 9th, 2012.

Give a warm welcome to the latest addition to the Klownhouse Family: ALL EYES WEST from Chicago!

The Chicago scene has always been known for its gritty and honest punk rock defined by bands like Naked Raygun, Screeching Weasel, and 88 Fingers Louie. Newcomers ALL EYES WEST, no strangers themselves to the Chicago scene, are continuing in its great tradition with the release of their self-titled debut LP on Jump Start and Ass Card Records. All Eyes West came together in the summer of 2010 and is lead by vocalist/bassist Justin Miller’s emotionally charged lyrics which have been a signature to bands like Signsedso and indie rockers Hinter. Guitarist Jeff Dean is known for the sound that has defined bands like The Bomb(with Jeff Pezzati of Naked Raygun) , Noise By Numbers, and Explode And Make Up. In a relatively short amount of time the band has managed to build an impressive resume, touring both the US & UK and now its about time to tour Europe...

Today the band posted a picture onn their Facebook page saying that they are about to enter the studio to begin recording either a  EP or a new full-length. The band simply wrote:

“The guys are assembled and prepping to record!”
